Book Boyfriends
This was an idea given to me and I thought, ok, that could be fun, so please comment with your idea of a favourite book boyfriend. I'll send out a few ideas to get the ball rolling.
First, must be Marc from my novel, About Us....In my mind the best character in the book and certainly worth leaving your husband for.
But there are others, Mr Darcy for instance in Pride and Prejudice, or is it Colin Firth the actor we really need? Jane Austen would have had no idea what she was cooking up with this one!
Mr Rochester in Jane Eyre? Yes, dark, brooding and a secret in the attic, definitely on my list.
Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind, but there again I have a thing for old films and it's possible that I'm going ga ga over Clark Gable.
Angel Clare in Tess of the Durbevilles. A tragic tale, and possibly not.
Mellors and Lady Chatterley? My jury's out on this one. I can't decide but D. H. Lawrence knew he was on to something here.
I'm struggling to think of more up to date boyfriends. I must read more romance and cut down on history and crime. What do you think? Let me know your thoughts on book boyfriends.
